Another night of too tired to post … We got up early in Half Moon Bay and went on a whale watching tour. Lots of sightings! Got done, ate, and headed to san francisco to meet up with Deepa. She has a great apt in the Noe Valley neighborhood. Minor snafu when the rental car’s trunk stopped closing, but thrifty swapped it for a new one for us no problem. Very new – 6 miles on it and parts still have the plastic protector strip attached. Deepa took us on a small driving tour and we ended up in the mission district eating great indian food for dinner, followed by interesting ice cream flavors including fig.

ah, more reminders of why a bunch of us should just move out to SF, rent a big flat in mission, and call it a life! Miss you two! love, amy

Hope you didn’t go to the Indian place we went to. Great food, but a 1hour wait!
